Meet our Farmers
Nueva Esperanza Cooperativa is a democratically run cooperative near the city of Condega, Nicaragua. Rhonda and Richard travel there every year in the Spring to see how sustainable practices are progressing and to show support for the coop and their environmental and social projects.
Our Mural
This expressive oil depiction of rural Central America was created by Esteban Camacho-Steffensen, Richard and Rhonda’s nephew. A citizen of both the US and Costa Rica, 19-year old Esteban is an art student at Pacific Northwest College of Art.
